Striking error?

    I found this North Dakota 2006 quarter going through my coins looking for collectables. The front has a weird print and the back is goldish with a plastic like material on it making it smooth from edge to edge. Any insight would help.

    Under coin chat. Go to silver proof state quarter set struck thru. A guy has similar markings on his front side of the quarter. Why would the back be as smooth as glass though.? Thats the difference im checking into

    More than normal circulation. Someone put gunk of some sort on it.

    Dip it in acetone. The glue will come off for sure.

    Nope.. You can see the pockets of air trapped under the glue.
