This is a Temple in a classic layout (8 columns to the front, 12 to the sides) that many of the 200 or so temples in ancient Rome shared. Could also be the Temple of Castor and Pollux or the one Elagabal built for Jupiter Ultor, for example...
Actually I did start building it in Minifig-Scale (1:50, like my Porta Nigra) instead of 1:200 but then I noticed that it would just look bigger but not much cooler. On the other hand it would... a) take 256 times as much material b) take a month to get the pieces and another month to build b) take up ALL of my office desk, and c) cost me as much as an Aureus :-(. Therefore I decided to leave it like this and think about a more spectacular object for the next Lego project. Any ideas, guys?
