I see one auction of a sealed box already bid up to $225.00! Holy Moly!! Die cracks also appearing for sale. I think I'll wait until the newness wears off. I think $50.00 a box + shipping should be sufficient. I can wait to find my doubled dies later.
Does anyone know where to find boxes of these, at a decent price??? Also, how can you tell if these are all actually P mint for sure??? I've seen a few boxes on EBAY, but not comfortable buying without being sure that they are all 2017Ps.
Look for a dealer with a good track record, good feedbacks, etc. The dealers may be getting them directly from the Fed or might be lucky getting them from local banks or Credit Unions. I would not pay over $50.00 a box though. Most dealers are charging $5-$6.00 a roll right now in small quantities, so $1.00 a roll is pretty reasonable. Look for and/or ask for sealed bank boxes if it does not say they are sealed in the description.
