"Coins which CAC deems solid or high-end for their grades receive green stickers, which usually add premiums ranging from single digit percentages to 92% or more." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Certified_Acceptance_Corporation
I dont mean to be harsh. Just when I get my grades that would not have gotten a 67 ever in my lifetime. The circular hits on the right below Unim and the hits on the base of the neck would keep it down. Don't take my low grade assessment of not liking the coin...it's wonderful! Color and cheek are yummy! Even strike but it is a S mint so we should expect it on an 82. But this is just my opinion.
I agree with the Duke. I would say it is a solid 65. I can't figure out the 67 and especially not the CAC.
You may be sorry that you asked that ?? lemur...just kidding. CAC posts have been known to cause a great deal of angst in these parts...BTW, welcome to CT.
Do you have what you consider a solid 65 to post for comparison purposes? I mean that in a non-argumentative way also just genuinely curious to see. If you have one I'll give you 66 money for it too
Here is an example I quickly took off of Heritage that I saw as a solid 65. A few small marks on the high points and fields, but otherwise clean. https://coins.ha.com/itm/errors/188...s/a/1184-5276.s?ic4=ListView-Thumbnail-071515
wow is that how bad Heritage's pictures used to be? I had no idea, those are awful. I know some don't like Heritage's pictures now either but I personally can get what I need out of them just takes buying a few to get a feel for them.
