That is a "APE" Bullion Coin... depends on the year minted...most trade at or slightly under bullion pricing depending on what dealer you go thru. Nice coin.. keep it. RickieB
Just a 2006. Back of the coin is the eagle flying away from the sun, nothing unusual. NGC also calls it "EARLY RELEASE".
The early release is due to being Sued for once calling them "first strikes"..a bunch of pooey if you ask me. It creates a false sense of importance to the unknowing buyer and often people pay a higher premium for that label..it is a bullion coin..thats it!! RickieB

I'd agree. Slabbing a bullion coin does not make much sense to me since it is just that, a bullion coin, meant to just be worth the metal content + a little extra. I don't know why, but people like to pay high premiums sometimes for slabbed bullion. Way overpriced IMO.
