Possible 1969S DDO on date?

Is this a real ddo on the date? on my microscope it looks so much more detailed .

    It is, without question, not the "big one". However, there is at least one other comparatively minor DDO known for the date/mint if you wish to look into it. Unfortunately, and very possibly due to personal shortcomings, I still cannot say one way or the other based upon the provided photos.

    This site would make a fine first stop, and is an excellent overall resource for learning about the different types of doubling as well as the minting process as a whole...
