I'd like to think they found a happy home. And John has been very kind in our dealings and I would offer him first refusal should I need to move the coins I bought from him. I believe we will be doing plenty more dealings in the future! They aren't my thing but I would still like to check him out if you could send me the link.
Real nice set of quarter eagles! You collect knives too. There are coins that show knives. Can't recall any U.S. coins that depict knives (are there?), but there are some ancient Roman coins that do. Most famous is the Brutus Ides of March denarius which depicts the dagger that killed Caesar. Pretty pricey though. Cal
Not as the major theme but some of the commemoratives do have them visible like the reverse of the Elgin.
