Has anyone ever seen chop marks on a Straits Settlements George V issue 1 Cent ?

I've got chopped British trade dollars, Straits dollars and a Japanese Occupation 1 cent but they all differ a lot from this one.

Very cool but I don't understand why they'd chop a cent.

The last one was chopped so the occupying forces didn't confiscate it on sight. It supposedly reads for collection.

Watch out for stuff like this. There is a rash of modern countermarks coming from Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore. The Georve VI coin is one such modern concoction and I've seen over a dozen of them on ebay beginning about 2-3 years ago. The first one is a bit different from others I've seen, but the same style and M.O.
