2007D state quarter washington RPM?

Discussion in 'Error Coins' started by Michael Bertono, Sep 10, 2017.

  1. I have this 2007D Washington state quarter and was wondering if this would be considered a rpm. The picture quality i no isnt the best but i appreciate any feedback from the CT community. In the second picture i drew a arrow where the D in question ends and goes threw the center of the main mintmark Capture+_2017-09-10-08-16-54.png Capture+_2017-09-10-08-19-24.png

It is Die deterioration doubling, the mint stopped hand punching MM in the early 90's.

  4. Thank pickin and grinin. I knew that they didnt had punch MMs anymore on pennys but wasnt sure if that was for all US minted coins.

I believe 89' is when they changed the process for all coinage.
