Broadstruck? Off-center? In collar? Partial Collar? Teach me the difference.

I know zero about error coins, but I just bought these four for $4 each. What exactly do I have?

Struck off-center . . . between 5% and 40% depending on the coin, is my guess. You got a bargain.

 

Interesting, the nickel doesn't show a rim while the others do. As another thought, the ones I have seen that have a date usually sell for more than ones which do not.

 

Well, that's good to know. I still have no clue what they're worth, though. I only know that the dated ones struck most off center go for more.

One would believe that these would carry a premium since it's just about impossible to find them any longer in bags.
I'm seeing 10 to 15 bucks each with dates w/o a lot less. But at $4 @ piece ya done pretty good.

What you have is a good bargain!! Very nice pickup at $4.00 ea. The ones with a full date do command a small premium over partial dates and no dates.
