Why is eBay not enforcing the new coin policy?

That's an easy one to answer.

The purpose of announcing any policies to thwart scam artists is absolutely NOT to cut down on EBay fee income, but only to try and con the gullible into thinking that EBay is taking action to protect them.

    Questions..sorry again

Hello, I like beating this dead horse SGS grading company to ebay (and enjoy my work doing so) but I am wondering if it is worth my time and effort to copy and paste their "graded work" to continue to report these guys????

Or are they currently getting a pass from ebay for the time being or what? and if so when does it end? Some of there products he slips through and mentions the grade in title other not, but you can clearly see the grade on the photo, but again I think another problem he doesn't have photos of the reverses on most coins if not all.

I especially like to beat on his expensive crap as well as his crap ending soon.

Are they still fair game to report? Or is it a waste of my time. I'm up to 60 today!:thumb:

I wouldn't go with the ending soon I'd go with the just started auctions. Gives more time for Feepay to react.

Thanks, I think you're right....I've been checking on my work and I see the "Ending" ones from the last 6-8 hours are still up. I'll keep at it though. :hammer:

But they are still game correct?

Is anyone else still reporting these? I have been reporting all the listings with a grade in the title (where not permitted, of course). I was down to less than 10 per day - until yesterday (Sunday). I know Sunday is eBay's big day, but I know I reported over 100 just from yesterday. I have no idea were they came from, but this is the most I have ever reported. Diud anyone else have any such problem?

    Rlm,
How are you reporting? I report in the Improper Keywords section, then misleading title, then intentionally misleading title, but I have not had any get pulled. what am I doing wrong?

I report at http://contact.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ContactUs&wftype=2022&rcode=BN%25P10072&subject=Selling%20Coins&bcrumb=+Home+%3E+Help+Topics+%3E%A0Rules+and+Policies%A0%3E%A0Rules+for+Sellers%A0%3E%A0Prohibited+and+Restricted+Items+and+Services%A0%3E%A0Selling+Coins&instruction=&expirationDate= with a copy of their rules against numeric grading in the "Enter your question / concern:" section, Don't get me wrong. eBay is pulling the auctions. I have only seen 1 that they did not pull for reasons I did not understand. It just surprised me how many new ones showed up yesterday. Either there were a lot of people who have not learned or there were a bunch of people listing who have not listed in a while.

These sellers seems to be very careful in the wording of their auctions lately. The ones I've seen mention no grade, no dollar value, and no slabbing. Sure, if you actually look at the item in the auction you can still see the SGS slabs and "MS-70" on the lable. Maybe that is enough to convince some people.

I'd lay money on that one. Plus the "gallery". You can still see the SGS slabs. Overall though I think it has put a dent in the "blatant" fraud.

I am sure it made a dent. Maybe not a large one, but it has done something. Why else would aboncom and centles be complaining so much.
