wow ok was looking for answers how about people who know pls post and idhair thankyou for the welcome
First, welcome to the forum; it's a pleasure to have you here. Now, please understand the guys are trying to help, but in order to do so, we must be able to clearly see your coin. Unfortunately, with the presently provided photos, this isn't something easily accomplished, at least if trying to give the level of certainty you deserve. Also, asking what you see and/or are asking about is actually a good way to both understand where you're coming from, and to be able to offer tailored assistance. Trust me; no one is trying to give you a hard time, and only wish to help within the best of their abilities.
thankyou books and I understand about the photos I will try to repost better and clear pics and thankyou for all your help and explaining things clearer
Thank you. The latest spaghetti models are taking it just off the coast. Still in the line of total destruction, though.
Best Wishes to you rick. Nug as for your original post I think you were trying to determine what is the obverse vs. the reverse (front/back). For Lincoln cents, the front is always the Lincoln portrait while the back (Reverse) is Wheat, Memorial or Shield depending upon the year. As the other folks have said, key in a post is good pictures and exactly what you think may be special about a coin. These guys have a wealth of knowledge and are glad to share it. One thing to note is that when you're starting out, EVERYTHING looks like a Cherrypickers variety! Believe me, I can't tell you how many "almost" close AM or Double Die's that I "thought" I had somehow found...that weren't! Welcom to the hobby! Hope you stay and enjoy!
