Well in the past few weeks I have gotten most of the background work done so now I can put more time into putting stuff up that you will be able to see. I've been able to get ahold of a good bit of the info that use to be up on the site to read over and see what can be used and what is still copyrighted.

Just to help you see what will be showing up soon is:
1: The grading page (I know--big deal--everysite has this one!) that will outline the ANA Grade Guidelines and also will have info such as what NGC calls a FS and what PCGS calls a FS and so on and so forth.

2: A counterfeit page with the different dates listed that have known fakes. Photos aren't something I have at this time so that will lack those.

3: The date page will soon have a photo for each date up to 1963 thanks to Hoot!

And some other things that I think you will like!! If you ever have any comments or suggests I would love to hear them. If you have an article about this topic that you would like to send for me to considder printing on the site...send it on!!!!

    Thanks Darryl,
I'm still working on the "Fake page"! The grading page has the ANA standers up now---but the NGC/PCGS standers isn't up for viewing yet. I'm hopeful to get it done soon....I just wish that work would slow down! You would think where I work on websites everyday that I could get this done faster but I just can't seem to. I've got about 10 other sites that need to get either quotes or the work done before too long......

    ahhhhhh......don't look yet....
For some reason some of the changes I added didn't save and it doesn't look that much different :( I hope to get back up the changes here ASAP.

Well after having a week of about going nuts I think I'm getting back on track. I have also been happy to be able to buy for the website a fake 1950-D Nickel. It was made from a 1959-D. That was one hold up I had on the fake page because it was lacking photos. This week work is going to be alot slower from what I'm seeing so look for some new things!

On other news---the site keeps getting more and more hits each month with the hits getting into the 10's of thousands!!!!
I'm trying to work with Jason on being able to get some of the better artiles put back online for the use of the collecting world, so keep on hoping that we will be able to get all of that worked out.

Thanks guys! I've run into some problem a few days ago and I have to kindof get a answer to it before I can add some of the new things I was talking about. I hope to have all of that worked out soon.

Jak, While there aren't a lot of photos or such I do have some nice photos of the 1990-D MISSING FS that you might want to check out. A member here found one and was so nice and sent it to me for taking photos.

    Hey Guys....
Here in the next few days I have something that will hit the website that any Jefferson Nickel lover is going to LOVE! Thanks to another guy who also runs a infomation website such as mine, I can now let you listen to Felix Schlag talk alittle about his life and the contest, etc. I've been checking out some things and so far haven't found a copyright on it anywhere so I'm going to post it.
I have some more things that are almost ready---I had some ready a few weeks ago but Copyrights have been found and that turned it into a pain in the rear.

I thought I would give ya'll a heads up on this---it will be a large file.....but that is the only way I can do it ;)

I should have the audio working by tonight! It is a large file and I still need to do some editing on it but I'll put it up so ya'll can hear it!

I know that alot of the time it looks like I haven't done much to the site---but there are alot of pages that are hidden right now that should be open to viewing here shortly.

Well I didn't get the audio edited like I needed to.....but I want to at least give ya'll the chance to hear it before anyone else.

    http://varietynickels.com/pages/jefferson-nickel/the-designer/designer-record/audio.php

    THIS IS A LARGE FILE.
It is around 4MB. When the editing is done it will be cut into smaller bits and should be easier to listen to and load.

I also have some pic's that go along with this---but they aren't loaded yet.

    Thanks
