1984 possible double die?

    Nope. Not doubled die. Definitely a plating issue. That's one nasty lookin cent haha

    They must have left the sand on the zinc core and plated over it haha jk I doubt that's what it was. Just using my imagination

    I have 3 of them out of the same roll. Figured someone tried to clean them the wrong way.

    Actually believe it or not, but that's the zinc core rotting I believe.

    Check this out. The zinc core was damaged before being struck. Don't think it's worth much but a dollar if even 50cents. I keep it for conversation.
