*STAR* Notes are really cool, but remember this, just because it is one doesnt Automatically make it worth a million bucks, many are somewhat common With no added premium.

I collect all "Star" notes no matter of condition. Here is why. Yes, some have higher printed #'s than others. Now, after a length of time many, that others did not feel to keep, now will have more in value later. They do not last long in circulation, do they? Each to their own.
I compulsively pull star notes from circulation if I receive them in change but never pay a premium for them or strap hunt for them. Just a little quirk of mine. Sorry OP, I know that doesn't help you at all.
If it weren't for collectors hoarding up junk for the last 200 years, we wouldn't have anything to collect today but recent junk. It's almost like our civic duty.
