I literally scratched and sniff this coin a coin show in Las Vegas. it smelled just like weed. lol my smoking weed days are long gone a long time ago. weed smoke free for 22 years. the good ol' days. lol as you get older you get smarter about your own health. + due to my last hospital visit I am on a totally new diet of health food only + no soda. just water and fruit juice with the occasional starbucks coffee frap. lol

Back in the 90's I could have sold this coin for $90.00, but I chose to keep because of the artistic artsy/craftsy thing I did with this 2X2. I cut out this egg being jailed from an ad in a magazine and I exacto'd the jail bars out very carefully then added the shadow to the bars on the bottom. then I reduced it down to a 2X2 size and then I photo copied it onto a overhead clear transparency. then added a craft brad to hold it in place. so you can move the bars out of the way to see the coin. I think it turned out so cool.

Both are very cool. The bars over Saddam, and Dan's sense of humor, classic. :D

These two coins are similar to the last ones I posts. One is the relief version, and the other is the "incuse" design.

NCLT silver pieces from two different countries.

This is one of a few "oval" coins minted by Poland...quite an odd shape for a coin.

I have a small subset of Egyptian themed coinage that I'll post here.
A set put together by the Franklin Mint.

I will be (and have) posting several new, or older coins/medals, to show in this thread, although not all owned. stock photos will be used. (W/A) My interests are mainly the unusual, so I will share what I find occasionally.

Yes, they are expensive. You're lucky if you can find the set for under $500. I think I paid $400 for mine. They released these as singles in different years also. Very cool coins BTW. (yours).

$500 would be a good price for the set. $400 even better. I think they will continue going up. I like my King Tut coins so much I will never sell them.

    Casascius Physical Bitcoin Tokens.

Underneath the hologram is the private key which allows you to "spend" the 1 bitcoin loaded on the coin.

2013 was the final year of issue as the US Government politely asked the maker of the coins to get a MTB license.
