Unless you forgot to turn it over, the thingy in the middle is not silver - it doesn't even claim to be.

The Morgan, culls like that trade every day at coin shows for 15-18-20 depending on silver price. There wasn't a show in the area, so I didn't see today's prices.

The Golden State Mint round says it's 1oz .999 silver. If it ain't lying, you did good, if it is, you didn't.

    Here's a link to their offering: https://www.goldenstatemint.com/1-oz-buffalo-silver-bullion-round.html

Unfortunately, since there's near zero detail in the hair of your round, I'm saying fake.

Two of the coins are silver rounds. is what the dealer told me. he said they're worth about $17 a piece and the Morgan is worth $18.

I just don't want to see you, or anyone for that matter, lose because you're new and need to learn more.

And what several of us are saying is we don't think that's what they are. One isn't marked and the other one doesn't match the known good example. I would weigh them on a scale accurate took 0.1 grams and they should weigh around 31.1 grams.

OTOP, if they are fake, it's a good lesson and a cheap one. People show up having bought 10 oz of "gold" for $3,000 on Craigslist that's a much tougher lesson....

BTW, please don't think any of us to be killjoy's. For sure, we are all happy to see anyone cut a great deal. We are just trying to make sure you have been safe with this dealer. We are a cautious lot and we have all seen some hokey pokey along our paths.

GSM is legitimate. I have done business with them. I once has a long conversation with the owner before sending a lot of 100oz bars to be converted to 1oz rounds. Everything was done very smoothly. I have lots of their buffalo rounds. Problem I have right now is that I cannot remember if their rounds look exactly like that and I don't have any handy to look at.

Thanks for the information. This is the kind of info that the OP should have before he makes a decision about buying something.

Dealer also wouldn't sell them at half of spot. Could have thrown all three in the melt bucket and cleared 40-45$... vs. selling to you at $25...

Just saying this is what the legit article looks like, vs. your pic in the OP...

In defense of @Mike the plumber he was just responding to what he felt to be a good deal. He was prepared to be disappointed, but also ready to be happy.
