Just a British farthing and Prussian sixth thaler for 1849 for me.

Thanks Curtisimo I am one of those really weird collectors/ I do not have any set collecting goal/series/Country/Period in history. My collections spans every century from 600BC to now 2008/ just got a Proof 70 British Sovereign. If money were no object, I probably would go for every Roman AR Denarius/ AV Aureus in mint state quality.

Not much movement over the weekend--I think our collections are getting more sparse. Here is an 1848:

 

My collection is right sparse along this mid 1800s area.......just waiting for the 1700s! I am heavy into the VOC stuff.

 

I actually have quite a few for this time period but don't have images. At this rate I may have time to get them!

 

1848 is actually a good year for my coins, though it was a tumultuous one in Europe. Here I have an Austrian 1 kreuzer, British farthing, Portuguese 20 reis, Spanish 8 maravedis, and Swedish 1/3 skilling.

 

Some really interesting coins being posted! Have to add a few more to my world coins for sure.
