Hello everyone! Just want to get your thoughts regarding the odd appearance that can be seen on both the obverse and reverse most notably towards the rim of the coin. Was it caused by something pre or post minting? I've seen this on other coin denomination as well. Thanks! Btw, can anyone hook me up with a link to a site about planchet related errors. I regularly see videos of diff coins that command good premium due to planchet related issues. Thanks.
I don't see anything, and my crystal ball is in the shop for repairs. Would you care to be more specific? Chris
My apologies! I was referring to the finish on the coin's surface around it's edges. It's on both sides though it's more pronounced on the obverse. I came across a few more coins of different denomination that have the same surface condition. Just wondering if this affects the coin's collectibility; if it enhances or diminishes desirability. Thanks.
