@Orfew , why are your blog entires not the beginning of threads here? I think you would get far more readers here. Furthermore, this site has a great search engine that could be used to find your entries that are relevant to some search a member might try. I'm afraid your work will be buried and lost on the web (like the ark in final scene of the Raiders of the Lost Ark where the valuable ark gets stored in a vast warehouse, never to be found again).

Thanks for your comments. To be honest, I believed that if I wrote threads the way I am writing my blog, that no one would read my posts. I am a trained academic writer and I find that this style often turns more people away than it attracts. That is why I have relied upon shorter posts and references to wikipedia.

I am writing the blog for myself mostly, so I can write anyway I want to. That does not mean I do not want people to read it. I hope people can get something from it.

That argument equally supports "no one would read my blog."

I find CT complex enough that it takes enough attention that I rarely visit other coin forums or blog sites. I will read your posts if they are here, academic style and all, but I won't have time to go seek them at your blogspot. So, my one vote is you post them here. If you still want a blog for yourself, you could make duplicate posts here. What do you think of that?

Please do not think I am calling CT 'simple'. That is not what I intended at all. It is just that my style can be quite dry. I certainly did not intend any insult to the readers here. I am always impressed by the knowledge of those who post here.

When I have new acquisitions I will post them here and on my blog. For the time being I am still catching up on my blog. All of the coins on my blog I have already posted about on this site. I would not want to test anyone's patience by posting about coins I have already discussed on this site.
