Whoa... good job. I floated through the blog, and opened a couple read mores... nice job! That is probably an excellent educational tool for your students too. I like it!

Very nice! I like the differential travel of background images and components when scrolling.

Isn't Wix fabulous? So much easier to use than other web hosting sites I've tried.

Thanks @TIF I really appreciate the comments. Also, yes, WIX is great. I really like using it.

Nice job Andrew. I wish more folks in the ancient coin community did things like this. I attempted a blog a few of years ago ('Flavian Fanatic'), but because my target audience could only have been half a dozen people it fizzled out. Your new blog looks to have much broader appeal and should attract more interest. I have it bookmarked.

Looks really good and it's easy to navigate. I would like to do something like this, but, alas, I don't have the knowledge or the patience.

Very nice! I viewed it on both my cellphone and laptop and thought it looked great on both platforms. I like the simple, uncluttered presentation and found it easy to peruse.

Very classy and clean design, @Orfew ! Logical and easy to navigate! The Roman crimson color theme for your background images is dynamic! There's plenty of content which is not competing for our attention all at once. The distribution and liberal use of generous white space is refreshing and is easy on the eye. The fonts are contemporary classic and clean. Let me guess—you're a pro at this aren't you?

I find the gray on white hard on the eyes even more that the black on white of CT. I might suggest starting to think now about how you want to handle menus when you get too many postings to work well with a keyword. You will be surprised how the pages will pile up quickly. Mine started in 1997 and was updated weekly for five years. Then I got lazy and started doing larger updates less frequently as better fit my run on mouth. Keep up the good work.

Thanks Doug for the constructive criticism, it is appreciated. I am especially thinking about what you said concerning the menus.

Many thanks to all for the feedback. I really appreciate it because I was a little nervous sharing this site. It is the first time I have ever tried something like this and it is my first website. I cannot recommend WIX highly enough. For those wishing to try it, I can tell you it is fairly intuitive. It takes a little bit of an investment in time to get started, but once this is done the process is rather straightforward.

Nice job Orfew, very informative a site that we could recommend here on CT to prospective early Roman coin enthusiasts.
    I have bookmarked as well.

And what an interesting portrait of Galba, it's almost a caricature. He was an old man, wasn't he? That Virtus is an elegant youngster. Doesn't much look like the emperor himself. There must be more to it...

Perhaps it is an idealized representation? A type of propaganda emphasizing youthfulness? There may in fact be much more to it that I do not know. That is part of what I love about the hobby...there is always more to be known.

It's great!! I will definitely be following it.

One typo: in the Brutus entry, the first occurrence of "Cassius" has an extra "s". :)

Very nice. You should upgrade to a custom domain name and drop the "wixsite" portion. It will help your SEO and will be easier for people to remember. IMO
