54 S nickel MM question

    The RPM-002 Looks somewhat similar in the top half but not the rest. Your S looks pretty smooshed.

    It looks like it was damaged in circulation to me.

    I'm also leaning towards circulation damage, or maybe a die chip (longshot bet) but I can't tell from the pics. @Lunchbox John posted a really nice pic, so look at yours under higher magnification to see if matches.

    Higher magnification is what I'm lacking. Is there a "cheap" usb plug n play alternative that allows screenshots?

    I'm old school and use a stereoscopic microscope that I got 35 years ago. I'm sure someone on here can provide the answer

    Nothing replaces good optics........send it to me so I can photog it. :)

    Oh, blast, don't. I've enough on the plate dealing with the wife, the kids, and the family. Barely able to keep my head above water..........I feel for those folks in Texas and Louisiana tonight.
