..if so I would love to see a picture of the one in your collection you like best. I love the S.Ls. They have so much detail on such a small surface. My opinion, the coolest U.S coin minted. Jim

I also like SLQ's. I built a set a few years ago and upgrde it when I can.
I tried to complete the set in EF or better. Standing Liberty Quarters are really beautiful coins in the higher grades. Some can be quite pricy.

    Here is a nice one. 1923 S

Gary, that 1923 S Standing Quarter is about as nice as they come. You should be very proud of that coin. I have collected them since the 1950`s and only once in a great while see one of the keys in that great state of preservation. The coin you have should be slabbed in my opinion but that is only if you plan to sell it.

I would love to have a set, but man they are expensive. I have a great 1923-P specimen, but my coin photography skills aren't so hot.

Susan, if you want one of the SLQ`s, the best struck examples are the variety 1, like the one you once owned. Most of the first type were fully struck and show complete beeding around the shield and almost all details on Miss Liberty`s head. An A.U. specimen is still affordable and quite nice to have in your collection.

It was a pure beauty. Sometimes a special coin comes along that reminds me just why I love this hobby so much.

I have some , I`am not going after a complete set. Not enough money, but I do have a 1917 t1 ms64 pcgs slab. I got it buy being in the wrong place at the right time. Right time for me ,wrong place for a dealer at a show who had sold nothing in 2 days , needed gas money to get home. :D

I do love the eagle in flight reverse of these coins. Probably one of the nicest eagle reditions on any coin (in my opinion).

Is this coin the size of a modern quarter?
