I have no doubt that PCGS correctly identified it as a business strike, but 64 with that amount of hairlines seems overboard. That is, of course, if they are hairlines and not die polish lines.
David Lawrence is the one selling it now with the 5/5 eye appeal, they're pretty stingy with the 5/5 and wouldn't give it that if they thought it was cleaned
I thought maybe the coin looked proof-like because of the die polishing ... it smoothed out the luster. They make mirror proofs by polishing the dies ... only they are careful about what they are doing. It's an interesting coin, I would love to have it, but the price is way out of my league. Those lines can't be hairlines if the coin was not graded with details.
I was about to guess PR60, but I can see that wasn't right. Or was it? Looks wildly overgraded to me.
