I also like Ed's 200/200/200 estimate for common/scarce/rare. My first 200 cities were acquired relatively fast and it seems to be getting exponentially harder to find new additions.
I am amazed at how big your Roman Provincial coin collection is.......you seem to have a coin minted at most cities, some I haven't even heard of, and some beautiful coins as well. Congrats on a such fine collection.

I'm going to step back a bit and add another "P" coin: It's a big 'ol 29mm bronze of Gallienus issued in Perga, Pamphylia. The only reason I know the identification is I can read his name and the reverse inscription say Perga on the last line and a half, but I just can't find another one. (BTW, if anyone can give me a reference number I would appreciate it).
I sure have enjoyed all of the wonderful provincials posted here. Thanks, everyone! Since there aren't as many cities which start with the last six letters of the alphabet, today you can add all remaining letters (U-Z). On Saturday I'll update the spreadsheet and report the final tally. Hmm, looks like I have no coins for this last group, although maybe there are some uncataloged coins lingering in the unorganized masses. I bet @ancientone has some

I agree with TIF, I have enjoyed this thread being a provincial fan, and the great variety of coins represented. I have two Zeugma, Commagene, Syria. Philip I and Philip II, with counter mark.
Just got this one today. I think this "S" city is missing: Stratoniceia Caria : Gordian III with Zeus seated left reverse

Aww, I'm all out of coins! This was a fun thread... I'm eager to see the final tally of provincial cities we managed to cover.
I'll add one more "P" city that showed up in the little lot I got today. Pogla Pisidia: Geta with the Artemis holding bow reverse
Not sure if I noticed in the thread one of the most important ancient cities in Syria, HELIOPOLIS, Septimius Severus, IOMH/ COL HEL, Temple of Jupiter Heliopolitanus in perspective, 15.56gm, 24.1 mm, BMC 290, 2.
