So far all I've gotten to look thru is Loomis.... not a very high yield.

I know many preferr CWR, but for those who do MWR, is there a particular company thru whom you've found consistent silver?

Most of the time I do Loomis too. I have gone to other areas on business trips but Loomis always had the best hit rate for MWR. I think the Federal Reserve that serves your area has something to do with older coins too.

Agree with Bman33, Loomis has been my best MWR. However, I can't say I have consistent success as I've only found 3 silvers in my last 10 boxes. I'm on a dry streak......

I'm with you on the dry streak Tex -- 10 Loomis boxes and 0 silver! :dead:

I'm trying to document everything now in excel so I can get a better idea of the rate of silver, but I just started my hunting journey a month ago so I thought I would ask others about Loomis, as this is all I have been getting from my bank thus far.

Hang in there guys. When I get in a slump I do one of two things. Take a break or do more boxes. Taking a break helps because you can take time off from dumping. If you don't want a break then do more boxes then usual to speed up the numbers game. I have retired a few times in the last year and a half that I have been CRH. I always come back after a few weeks, lol!

Nomad, keeping a spreadsheet is good because after awhile your search results will fog your brain! I split my halves sheet into 3 categories: Rolled, Bagged, & Loose. I've also added other sheets for Purchased Coins, Metal Detected Coins, & Coinstar Finds. I can't help it, I'm an engineer!
