Very nice coins all! @Multatuli I agree, Andres' coin looks a lot like Clodius Albinus. I see several coins for sale that look like the portrait could honestly be either emperor.

@jamesicus That is a very nice VICTORIAE BRIT. I do not have one yet but I would happily add one like yours.

@Eduard That is a nice grouping of legionary coins as well as the sestertius. I have not bought any of the legionary coins because I just don't see them that often. I really am clueless as to what prices should be then.

The sestertius is very nice for these. Of all the Septimius legionaries, over half are LEG XIIII GEMMV. The others are not spread evenly with a couple really rare and a couple seen regularly. I suggest not paying much for coins that can not be assigned to a legion. In addition to Rome, there are coins from Alexandria and Emesa which are all scarce. Those interested can see my pages on them.

@dougsmit Thanks for the link to your legionary pages. I will reread it often.

@jamesicus Those are some lovely coins of Caracalla and Geta. I have yet to find a Geta denarius to my liking (to buy). Yours is a strong contender.
