Is my 1956 wheat penny worth something

I have 2 wheat penny(1956) has a strike mark on Lincoln face and the other one on the head.

both post mint damage PMD. worth 1 cent each.

 

I'd still keep em. Just on account of being wheats.

wheat cents are fun to collect. I used to buy my now ex-girlfriend a box of $25.00 to search thru for her fun. I used to get $250.00 box of dimes to search for silver. My high debt has prevented me from getting that $250 box. i have not searched for silver dimes in awhile. I miss it. still to focused on getting certain dates for my toned 25 cents 50 cents Canadian coin collections. I am glad to hear you are having fun with searching/looking a wheat cents. you might want to buy a "red book" at you local bookstore to let you see what the rarer dates and mint marks are along with the mintages of each date. maybe even start a collection.
