Looking for any information on this items origin or value. It is copper, just under 4 inches in diameter, and weighs 348 grams. Thank you in advance.

That's a toughie based on only image and no wording. There are apps for smart phones where you can take a picture and the app will find it or come close. Waiting for the others to chime in. Right now all I can say is it's a medal of some sort, not a coin. Are there any inscriptions along the edge of this?

Thanks for the reply. No inscriptions on the edge. Just those 4 characters on the one side. Kind of puzzling.

MIPO does not seem to mean much of any use as a clue, I think
    Minimally Invasive Plate Osteosynthesis

    Is not really likely.
The design looks vaguely derived from ancient Persian, but modern of course.

Chewmassa Now where could my pipe be?

Looks like a medal given for third place at some sort of beard competition. In all seriousness I have no idea and am now curious myself.
