I have this recurring dream about finding a roll of uncirculated 1884-S Morgan Dollars and what to do with them. I always come to the conclusion that I would certify and sell about 2 a year.
A dealer friend of mine has told me the story how as a kid in 1955 he got a penny back in change and noticed doubling. The merchant told him it was no big thing, he had just taken it from a newly opened roll....
As a kid growing up in the 50's and 60's I wonder sometimes if I ever had one inmy hand. Ya never know. I know when I was about 8 years old (1959) I buried a jar full of pennies in my back yard. To my knowledge it is still there.
