Here are some photos of my error finds when I looked through the $25.00 box of 2017P cents that I got off of Ebay.
Roseland3 Die cracks aren't errors they are simply cracks transferred from the die itself. They sometimes can become markers for an error coin but not an error
Granted they are not true errors such as doubled dies, but as a oddity or varieties they are interesting. Also granted they are not worth much over face value, but they are fun to find and to keep a few. It is always fun going CRH to see what you can find.
I just got back from seeing the Grandkids in Mobile Alabama on Sunday. Came back with just 38 2017 pennies, all with the D mint mark. Were did all the Ps go?
I think they went to New England. We've got 2017-P's coming out of our ears up here! Every cent roll I break open is at least 1/2 to 3/4 2017-Ps.
I found almost a whole roll's worth of the 2017-P Lincoln Cents in one box of coins here in Amarillo, Texas.
Mike they were earlier in the year. Now that they are getting around more demand has gone down. E bay is a good barometer of what something is going for. Still I'm hoarding all mine. Have fun!
