Just got these SLQ's today in the junk silver box at the local "We buy Gold & Silver" shop and am really excited to find the 17 S and 19 D. Now I know these coins aren't the highest of grades, but if there's a 1917-1924 SLQ in the junk pile with at least 1 legible digit I can't pass it up. I think I came out pretty dang good at $3.60 a piece! 1917 S Type 1 1918 S Type 2 1919 D Type 2 (last 9 shows) 1923 Type 2 1924 Type 2
There can't be a 2 on that coin. The coin is clearly a pre-1925 variety. If this was a 1929-D the entire date would be crystal clear at this coins grade (F-VF). Great finds for junk silver prices. You certainly are 'required' to buy such coins in this situation.
