Poor example? No! How I wish one with this grade...It's a very very nice Leg XXII. I just have on my collection one II, VI, that poor Chortis Speculatorum that I posted here before, and one interesting brockage that there's no way to know what Legion is. One more time, congrats!
I had a Chortis Speculatorum once. The doctor prescribed a round of antibiotics and cleared it right up.
The seller and I came to agreement. When it arrives, I will post the coin and particulars. Thanks for the well wishes.
What a beautiful and generous gift. Very pleased for you and praise for the gifter! I hope you are able to complete your set (soon), and find those specially scarce varieties your are seeking. I will keep an eye out as well in case I come across them.
Like I said, I just added another; Chortis Speculatorum. The seller he will have a Leg Lybicae for sale soon. Both of these, along with the Antiquae go along way in my collection.
Welcome to the Ancients Forum @Multatuli! Are you in Brazil? Beautiful country! Beautiful people! What kind of ancient coins do you collect?
Hello Deacon! Yes! I'm live in São Paulo-Brazil. I'm dutch-brazilian! It's really a beautiful country, but the economic and political situation here is getting worse every day... I collect all kinds of ancient and medieval coins. But I have a bit preference for roman republican coins! Thanks!
