This one appears to be uncirculated , due to a recent house move im going to have to sell a few coins , id like to get an idea of value first. I vaguely remember approximately what i paid but it was so many years ago now i can't be sure. I did keep records on a previous computer but it gave up the ghost so i lost what records i kept. Thanks for any insight given on this one. IMG_1324.JPG IMG_1325.JPG

Welcome, and it does not appear to be uncirculated.
There are definite signs of wear.

I do not wish to seem disrespectful to a new member here, but I do not see this coin reaching above EF by the standard which a British collector would use to grade it. Here's a coin I feel is Uncirculated for comparison, images courtesy of Heritage Auctions which is why I left their watermark untouched:

Looks cleaned or polished besides. It is a neat coin though. If you get a chance look up some of the stories and superstition around this coin. Most people viewed it as bad luck.

Thanks guys , i do now see minimal wear on the high point of her hair , im not so sure about cleaned or polished though. The pic was taken in mega bright sunlight with an Iphone so not the best equipment. Its been in my Dansco album undisturbed for over 20 years.

I dunno about "polished;" that could well just be an artifact of your lighting. Coins are harder to photograph accurately than they might seem, and one has to be careful when evaluating imagery from a new poster as a result.

The grade I offered was to the European standard, which is held to be rather more strict than that applied in the US. That said, it seems that PCGS and NGC tend to hew more closely to that stricter standard when grading coins from Great Britain, so I suspect it would see XF40 or so from a US TPG (surfaces aside). Here are a couple of slabbed XF examples from Heritage to compare to:

None of this means I don't like the coin. I'm particularly fond of Victoria issues, regardless of country, and currently collecting Canadian copper ones. :)
