Bitcoin.... there is only one. Speaking of which, I know how much virtual currency is a no no here... But consider the Ethereum for an investment if you have a COINBASE account. Read about it, read the banks and BIG BIG tech companies now involved with it.
All the talk of these strange denominations reminds me of the joke about the counterfeiter. A guy counterfeits a bunch of $20 and figures the safest place to get rid of them would be in a small town. So he goes into a small store and asks the owner if he could get change for a $20. The owner says, "Sure. How would you like that in $3s, $6s or $9s?" But now - back to the thread at hand. On the ancients, I don't believe they should be included in this count because we don't know what the mintage was for any of them. While there may only be one or two examples known today, that doesn't mean then weren't hundreds of thousands minted. In fact are there any ancients with known mintages?
In the case of Bitcoin and all other crypto-currencies, it's "mined" from the "mind", and nothing more. The whole shmeer is a demonstration project in mass idiocy. "How much baloney can we get idiots to believe as we steal their money with the biggest Ponzi scheme in the history of man?"
