Prettiest ugly quarter my daughter found

    The school we live near is adding a parking lot, so they have been digging up the old school yard. We went walking there tonight and my daughter found this ugly (but strangely beautiful) quarter. It has an almost woody look on the reverse, and I love the way it has aged. No telling when it was dropped. Anyways, carry on! Lol IMG_4442.JPG IMG_4443.JPG

    The front doesn't look the best, but the woodish look on the back looks nice.

    My thoughts exactly. That's actually pretty handsome "earthen patina". It sets off the tree perfectly, and does give it an eerie, otherworldly appearance. I like it!

    It's a "DirtCam"!

    (*That's a spinoff of my "CircCam" term.)

    Super cool. Looks like a tree from the forest in the movie Sleepy Hollow.... which coincidentally came out in 1999. :)
