Seventeen counting the Antiqua in the mail. I'm trying to put together an entire MA legionary series, but I believe I'm only half way there. Several of CT posters have me in mind when they see one for sale or auction. That's been greatly appreciated.

 

As I recall there were some fakes made in the past to fill in numbers Antony passed over. Do you know anything about this? Have any?

 

I've heard this, but I do not have any. I saw a Leg I for sale a couple of weeks ago, but it appeared someone just smoothed over the number in order to make it Leg I. I think Andrew McCabe may have some insight. He has an extensive collection of MA Legionary denarii. I drool every time I see some of his posts.
