    It's a well circulated 1943 steel cent. It's worth 1-5 cents depending on where you try to sell it.

    It's made from steel that's why it's rusting. If the lower half of the 3 is missing, that's due to the die having too much grease in that area when the coin was struck.

    Yes the lowere half of the three is missing. I wasnt sure what exactly this particular coin began

    Steel was only used this year on cents as the copper was needed for the war but like Seattlite86 said, it's not worth much.
