What do you do with the coins you find roll hunting?

  1. Like the title ask what do you do with the coins you find roll hunting? More importantly the ones that you do not keep for your collection! Example tonight I hunted my first box of pennies I pulled out 24 wheats and 4 Canadians. Out of the 28 coins I found what should I do with the ones I don't need? Trying to get an idea of what do do with the extras. Maybe sell for a little money?

    rickmp Frequently flatulent.

I spend them. If I have full rolls, they go to the bank.

I keep what I want and then dump the rest into a coin machine at one of my local credit unions. Get cash back, rinse and repeat.

    Stash and cash them.

  7. Might work on filling a book or 2 first. Then try to get rid of the others.

I forgot about this. I used to do this in my earlier coin roll hunting days. It's a fun way to do something with the leftovers. Also makes you look for more dates.
