What's the deal with the Peace (handshake) Nickel?

I've been keeping track of the Keelboat and Peace nickel rolls after the Mint stopped selling them and I've noticed a big jump in price on the Peace nickels that are still sealed in the Mint rolls but not much of a jump on the Keelboat. What gives? It seems the Keelboat is much more prevalent on eBay, too. Is the availability the reason?

It may be an availability issue. I did notice that when the Keelboat was issued, collectors seemed to prefer that design and I think the Peace nickel was ignored for that reason. Now that the Keelboat nickels are in collections, I think collectors are starting to think about the Peace nickels which has made the demand for the Peace nickels greater now. JMHO.
