Hi, I have the opportunity to purchase this coin for about $100 dollars. Its an 1890 O Morgan Dollar, which I know is a conditional rarity. Could anyone tell me what grade it would be, and whether or not I should buy it? Thanks, Peter Z
(Edited my earlier post, because I was thinking of 1892-O when I typed it.) Can't tell from those pictures, but the coin there looks about MS63-ish. Per Numismedia, that's a $113 coin in MS63.
But thats $113 for a "Graded" example. Not a raw example. The OP's decision to buy or not to buy is one that he will have to make.
