Ok I guess that sorted itself out. :p

@jwitten let us know what a typical one (no toning) of those coins goes for.

No worries; you're good to go! Just let us know an average price for such a coin.

    I'll say $450
...nicely toned gold is not common (in fact, @jwitten might have even cornered the market :D) and this coin looks to be an above average example for the MS 62 grade.

For what it's worth, my guess would have been $425!
I'm arriving to the game a little late.

Question for those "in the know". How long can a slabbed coin retain it's color with little to no change, if kept in a relatively dry environment? I know there's probably too many variables, but an educated guess. Another way...If someone buys a toned coin how long will it retain its color???

With my gold, hopefully forever! Silver changes a lot easier though, which is why I get nervous buying toned silver.

I love the blue, and reddish colors, (light-mid) but not a fan of the brown/darker colors. (Silver) just was wondering how long before the lighter (blue/red) start turning darker. Many variables I know, but reasonable expectations such as 5-10 years, 50-100 years, etc... has anyone noticed change during their ownership???
    Thanks.
    John.
