I would say nickel is mentioned the most times....but for reference, i will go with-

That's 3 off the top of my head about dimes. I think "dime" is the easiest coin to rhyme.

I remember many long car rides with my dad listening to Dr Hook....I got stoned and I missed it..has dollar bills...

 

Two hours of pushing broom, buys an 8x12 four bit room.

 

Pennies used to come from heaven but now are a cruel joke.

 

That's the first one that came to my mind.

 

In the UK "Penny" would be the most common I think. Penny Lane by the Beatles comes to mind.

For a joke, how about "Dong"? The national currency of Vietnam - "Ding Dong merrily on high" etc!
