Just bought this little provincial and I can't find another copy online anywhere or in my reference library. It's not in Recueil général des monnaies grecques d'Asie mineure, not at Wildwinds, not at Coin Archives, not at acsearchinfo, not at CNG's archives, not in BMC, not in Sear Greek Imperial.

Anybody have Lindgren I? One of the SNG volumes? RPC??? I'd appreciate any help I could get.

Is that a phoenix on the reverse?

Ah!! Maybe! I thought it was an eagle but it might not be! I'll have to use phoenix as a search term! Thanks for this insightful observation!

I didn't find anything on ISEGRIM, though you have the reverse type for Septimius. I think the ISEGRIM database has everything from Lindgren, Waddington and the major SNGs for Nicaea, but I'm not at all adept at using it... you might want to give it a try yourself if you haven't already.

I was unaware of this database. Thanks!

It's not very user-friendly. I put in "Domna Nicaea," for example, and it told me I made an error.

Heheh... it's no Google search. You really have to read the 'short' instructions before trying to do any searches:
    http://isegrim.dasr.de/isegrim/anleitung_e.html
I'll qualify that last statement by saying you probably need to want to find a coin really badly before even reading the instructions...

LOL, OMG, that is NOT user friendly for me. :) YUP, I will use it for those tough coins...
