The 3rd picture is the best one.. interesting!
My first thought is some sort of weird plating bubble. This is the type of thing I would have to see in hand.

 

Interesting for sure but where do we get these names from, "Crying Lincoln?"

 

That's what it looks like!... Better than the morbid "Assassination Cent" term that people have for Cents with holes near the head

Here's an image from Pcgs and it looks the same .

 

I have some 2017-P cent that vaguely looks like he is crying. They don't show as good as the third pic from the OP.
