Yes, a blast from the past. It appears to be an article from 1997.

NGC ..one of the "smaller" services ......Wow ..I remember those days.

Very insightful, and right in a lot of respects. I still prefer to go look at a coin in person slab free and barter for a price instead of some company dictating what I should pay based on a grading system that isn't really all that consistent.
