I could ask about halves and such. But what would I use to pay for them. I'm going to try Loomis rolls of pennies.
These CWR pennies are OK but they did come from another person possibly even a collector.
Three penny and three nickel rolls to go.

I'm in NJ as some of you may know. I've been finding many BU 2016 D dimes which is odd because it's rare to find a new D coins. Anyone care to speculate why?

The pennies were a repetitive bust.
    Nickels gave a nice 74P and 95P.
The car just left with my Sister.
Banking later after lunch I guess.

Yesterday I went to our bank and got all MWR rolls.
Pennies are giving the odd just came from the mint update.
But no 2009P are showing up.
Nickels I look at the ones I need. And so far only one 2014D was better. Most of mine aren't THAT bad.
I will not be going to the bank today.
Have enough rolls and reading to get me through the day.

Whew! After the twelve boxes this week, my streak of skunk boxes went to 30 boxes, with only two boxes producing the following
    2- 1987 P and D
    1-1985s
    1-2001s
    2-Walkers
    2-Franklins
    1-'64 Kennedy
    7-'65-69 Kenedys

So I will officially call the current skunk streak over with close to 3oz of silver, plus the proof and 87 finds.

Dunno. I'm still finding MS14s and15s in rolls. Not a scratch or ding and perfect clean reeding. It's neat to think about though. NJ has Newark international so I wouldn't be surprised if it helps the movement to NJ. I'm a couple hours south (close to BWI) and I was finding 17D nickels in April.

Normally the bank charges for boxes but somehow I got a box of pennies and a box of nickels for face value. I guess that there's no charge since they're under the teller's desk and not in the vault. I got 33 wheats in the box which is unusual. The last couple of boxes also gave more wheats than the usual 5-10 a box. Wonder what's going on.

    Box of pennies: 1934 hole filler, 2x1936, 1942, 1944, 1944-D, 3x1945, 2x1946, 1950, 2x1951D, 2x1952-D, 2x1954-D, 2x1955-D, 3x1956, 3x1956-D, 2x1957, 3x1957-D, 1958-D, 7 Canadian

    Box of nickels: 1934 buffalo, 1943-P war nickel, 18 pre-60 nickels, 4 Canadian DSC09019.JPG

I recently decided to start searching half dollar rolls for errors and silver. Getting boxes of these (or any coins) can be difficult in my small town so I usually get between 1-5 rolls at a time.

Anyways I got a roll a couple days ago and got my 1st 40% silver (67) half. It will become my new pocket piece.

The reason I am posting this is because of this:
Since I don't actually collect Kennedy halves I was wondering if there are particular years I should be on the lookout for.

Thanks to @Truble post I now know to look for the 1987s...any more years of particular interest?

Went to get my boxes for the week. They have changed their order/pick up dates so now they order on Thursday and deliver on Monday. No problem. Then the guy tells me he made sure to order my 2 boxes of nickels and $2000 in gold dollars. :banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead: He realized he screwed up as soon as he said it. But it was too late to change the order. This is gonna be a light week.... Hopefully will get back on track after next week.

Might be fun to look through those for a change though. I really should order a box of dollar coins sometime.

What's the date/mint on that upper Walker? It looks polished, but it also looks like a 1920-something in this image...

I've looked through quite a few thousand dollars worth of them. I get so tired since there is really nothing all that interesting to see. I told him I'd take them from him since he ordered them. We'll see haha

I've gotten down to 4 penny and four nickel rolls.
Just got a nice 1963P penny.
And got a marginally better 1999P nickel.
Probably do one more penny and one more nickel before bed.

Found my first silver Canadian in a dime box. Was pretty surprised since I'm assuming this is a lot less common than a silver Roosevelt.

It's a '36, and yes it was polished by someone. I didn't take a picture of the reverse but it looks like someone tried to tone the eagle gold. If I get a chance I'll snap a picture of it

    Any
2002 and later, they were not indended to be circulated. I continue to look for a '74 D without FG.
Odds are long on that one, real long!

1965-69, watch for 1970D and S, I've found two in my years of searching. Look for '76S both Clad and Silver they show up every now and again. Any Year Kennedy from San Fran mint, it will be a proof like the '85 and '01 in my picture.

    Good luck hunting!
