I found this 1969 penny. Does anyone know anything about it? It's looks like some kind of die error.

    found this 1969 penny. Does anyone know anything about it? It's looks like some kind of die error.

    Only thing I can see is that it looks like the 6 suffered a hit. Post Minting Damage

    When you look through a magnifying glass it looks like it happened at the mint

    I'm not really sure maybe something was stuck to the die. I'm new to this but under the scope I'm positive it happened at the mint

    Is that extra bit by the 6 raised off the surface or pushed into the surface? Or is it raised with a depression next to it? A good photo would really help.

    It looks to be pushed to the surface. What are you thoughts on it. I can try and take a better pic but I'm pretty sure it happened at the mint but I could be wrong

    The 6 is still there but it looks like it got bumped or something when it was in the press
