The 1965-1987 Whitman quarter book has been giving me issues with keeping the quarters in place and not popping out. It's VERY annoying. When I think they're all in there I go to close the folder and some pop out. Usually on the last page. Anyone have tips for fixing this issue? Yes I have 2x2s but I'd like my year to year quarters in this book for nice display. This is the only one I'm having this issue with.
I used a little bit of paper, fold it over and tuck it in, between the coin and the edge of the hole.
First, welcome to the neighborhood! Honestly, I don't know why you want to use the old Whitman albums in the first place because it only allows you to see one side of the coin. Granted, a Dansco album costs more, but it is much, much nicer and allows you to view both sides of the coins at the same time. Chris
If you want a nice folder that does not allow coins to pop out, try the ones by H.E. Harris & Co. They are cheap, but work well.
I'd have to agree with cpm9ball (Chris). I use Dansco with a slip-cover and have never had any issues with them falling out. I also feel like they are better protected. Dan
