I got change back yesterday and I received this penny. I know it is in rough shape but im not sure if there is an error on the bottom left of the front side, or if it adds any value. Im just looking for an estimate for the value.

It's strictly damage -- the coin is beaten up and dented, and it looks like it circulated after it was dented. Note that that raised, flat area on the front (obverse) matches a dent on the back (reverse).

I'd still be happy to get this in change, and I'd hang onto it. Good find, and welcome to CoinTalk!

Cool find. Not worth much, but fun, and a "keeper". Beats my oldest circulation find by 25 years. I found a well-worn 1909 Lincoln cent (no mintmark, no VDB) when my mother let me dig through her change purse... 41 years ago.
